About Us

Vinylfreaks & Co. is a growing custom apparel and promotional products business in Lindenhurst specializing in DTF transfers, screen printing, embroidery, and branded merchandise. We help Long Island businesses, schools, teams, and organizations look their best, and we take pride in quality work, fast turnarounds, and treating every customer like a regular.

What You’ll Do

• Run and maintain production equipment, including the DTF printer, heat press, screen printing press, and embroidery machine (we’ll train you).
• Prep orders by counting, sorting, and checking garments against work orders before production.
• Press DTF transfers, hoop garments for embroidery, and help with screen printing setup, printing, and cleanup.
• Inspect finished products for quality, then fold, bag, and package orders for pickup or shipping.
• Keep the shop clean and organized, and help track inventory of blanks, ink, film, thread, and supplies.
• Help with customer pickups, answer basic questions, and assist with promotional product orders as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing things right the first time.
• Strong attention to detail. Spotting a crooked print or a wrong size before it leaves the shop matters a lot here.
• Comfortable standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and doing repetitive hands-on work.
• Able to follow instructions, learn new equipment, and work independently once trained.
• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with screen printing, embroidery, heat pressing, or DTF.
• Familiarity with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW) or embroidery software.
• Retail, warehouse, or production experience.

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time, seasonal position: June through January
• 20–30 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling
• $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
